"Sasquirreliluscious" is the second solo classical guitar piece in the "Sasquatch" series, NOT to be confused with any of my other sinister series, that pay tribute to Fiends (not friends) and other horrible beasts of the night and to the marvelous influences, much to many's dismay and chagrin, they have had on my person and my composing.

The Sasquatch is a stupid beast fabricated and perpetuated by stupid people. The music is entirely fitting.

The excerpt begins at m. 1 with an frigged up double-harmonic minor 10/16 blues figure. Then in m. 2 begins a chromatic 5/16 figure in the bass while the 10/16 blues continues in the upper voice.

The lower voice contracts against the 10/16 in the upper voice by one sixteenth until it reaches 2/16. But before it gets there, there is a train wreck at m. 9 to set us up for the transition from 4/16 to 3/16 and the steady decline to the end.

From m. 10 to the conclusion, the piece slithers and slides into a motley gruel at the bottom of the cauldron to meet a simple G chord at its sickening demise….

The "Sasquatch" series has little in common thematically with the other series yet the music creates a similar sinister and haunting aura. I sincerely hope that you enjoy this piece as well as the other "Sasquatch" pieces.
