Seitz composed eight student concertos as well as other smaller works for young violinists to test their skills on. Concerto No.3 is in three movements which are all seamlessly joined together.

There are many student concertos that were written at the end of the 1800s and beginning the 1900s. These works were composed to be played with piano and not orchestra. Many arrangers have risen to the task of orchestrating the piano parts and here's my attempt…
