Just for viewing/listening. I intend to arrange a suite from the Tchaikovsky ballets for symphonic brass so here's a 'taster'; the opening Scene from Swan Lake (Piccolo trumpet in A, D trumpet, 5 C or Bb trumpets, flugelhorn, 4 horns, 4 trombones, euph, 2 tubas, timpani and harp!). Very much aimed at the top professional groups (those that might be able to afford a harpist for a start!), I've left the harp part as per the original score. Aside from the affordability of a harpist (!), views welcome as to whether this is practical! Nifty work needed form the horns for tremelandos (including alternating between F and Bb triggers!)N.B. Now with a few edits after a bit of extra self proof reading!
p.s It is suggested that horns stagger their breathing in the opening and ending tremolos!
