06/20/08, 7:00pm, Cibola auditorium, 4100 W. 20th Street, Yuma, AZ. The WSCM Quartet will premiered String Quartet no. 2 in C minor Op. 13 at the "Strings Del Rio Festival." Performers: Neli Nikolaeva, Laurel Diskin, violins; Kevin Bishop, viola; Maksim Velichkin, cello.

06/08/08 CSMA Showcase Concert, 3:00pm/7:30pm, University of Redlands Memorial Chapel, Redlands, CA. The Youth Orchestra of the Community School of Music and Arts performed several orchestrations of solo violin standards that were commissioned from me. (Those in the public domain appear here on SibeliusMusic.com) Composers include: Debussy, Dancla, Wieniawski, Kreisler, Ruegger, and Klauss.

12/11/06 A new CD has been released, featuring my String Quartet and Fughetta, performed by the WSCM quartet- James Tan, Rebecca Juarez, violins; Kevin Bishop, viola; Nick Bertani, cello. Click on the link for details or go to the WSCM site.

Half of the proceeds go to the Western Society of Chamber Music, a non-profit organization dedicated to sponsoring live performances of chamber music and providing scholarships for young musicians. The cd makes a great holiday gift too ;D

4/15/06 Trio for Clarinet, Horn, and Violoncello Op. 11 premiered by Melanie Morley (clarinet), Eduardo Contreras (horn), and David Meyer (cello).

4/14/06 Invention Op. 9 premiered by harpsichordist Irmengard Jennings.

3/18/06: The Redlands Symphony Orchestra performed Mozart's "Haffner" Serenade K.250, featuring two new cadenzas from me as well as well-known cadenzas by Fritz Kreisler. The new cadenzas were commissioned and performed by concertmaster Pavel Farkas. It has been a pleasure to collaborate with Mr. Farkas. Update: recorded excerpts are now attached to the scores below- click on mp3.

11/05: String Quartet in F Major has been premiered by the University of Redlands Student String Quartet. Performers: Carolyn Labutta- vn.1, Gerry Whitney- vn.2, Kevin Bishop- viola, Daniel Mullikin- cello. Mp3's of the live performance have been added to the scores below. The piece has also been performed at Hill Auditiorum as part of the Chaffey Chamber Music Series.
