Archer Murakami

I was born in 2000 and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I used to play the flute and piccolo in middle school and high school.

I arrange songs for wind instrument ensembles, marching band, and concert band. My specialty is flute ensembles.

When I arrange songs, I stay true to the essence of the song. Whether it's a national anthem or a folk song, I try to maintain as many aspects of the original in my arrangement as possible. My goal is to immerse the performers in the spirit and context of the song, not merely them play it.

In addition to arranging, I am also a college student and a volunteer at my local cat rescue.
