reworking of an old Trio for brass (French horn, trumpet, & trombone). A simple ternary form, the work developed from an idea for a parade fanfare that took on a life of it’s own. The title characterizes the A-B-A form though when I asked my spouse for her impressions she replied that she envisioned "baby whales floating in a ballet sequence!" So be it. If you have access to such a company of dancers this work may interest them ;-)
