Then (s)he finally comes back to her/his country of origin and is very surprised to find out that her/his own homeland has so much to offer! Real treasures have all the time been waiting for her/him – at home! And (s)he had thought (s)he had already seen it all!
When her/his longing and homesickness finally lead her/him back to her/his country, (s)he finds these treasures (s)he didn’t know anything about! So, now that (s)he’s back, (s)he promises her/himself to explore her/his whole homeland however much time it will take.
Localising for those interested in playing and singing this song in languages other than Finnish: Please notice that this song can easily be "localised" by replacing the country name (Finland) and all the city/town names (here Finnish cities like Helsinki and Tampere) by names of any country, city and town.
