A piece I wrote for my brother Rob, who once played the cello. The piece can be transposed for other (string) instruments. It uses two themes, bother created from the word Rob, but using slightly different methods. The piece starts off with one and metamorphoses into the other, ending like the start backwards. There is ample room for rubato, as the fast arpegios are quite difficult, though it would be good if you could play them up to speed!
