In all honesty, I must plead a certain amount of ignorance here. At the time I composed this I knew very little about fugues. I thought the basic idea of a fugue was to throw together a theme with immitation, mix it up a bit, and hey! there's your fugue. In my old age, I realise how simplistic, and basically "wrong" I was. Still, the work is kind of 'fugueish', meticulously structured in terms of it's formal conception if you look at it in detail, and a lot of fun, so have a go and enjoy some 'primativism' or 'neo-naiveism'. You will enjoy playing it i'm sure!
