An arrangement of 'Little Buttercup' from Gilbert & Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore, arranged for woodwind trio of flute, clarinet and bassoon. A bass clarinet alternative to the bassoon part is also provided for added flexibility.

‘Little Buttercup’ is contralto aria which features early in the first act of H.M.S. Pinafore (or The Lass that Loved a Sailor). Buttercup, a round but comely dockside vendor, enumerates the various items she has available for sale. H.M.S. Pinafore was the fourth of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera collaborations and the first to become an international sensation.
